The Shaker Style

The Shaker style kitchens originate from a religious community known as the Shakers, who valued simple living. Their style of kitchens have endured through the centuries–being rooted in a simplicity which makes it timeless and fashion-proof. Shaker door styles, comprising a flat, recessed central panel of wood completed with a raised, square-framed edge, are the most easily recognisable aspect of this style of kitchen.
