Handleless Kitchen Kirkby
After purchasing this house brand new in the 90's the original kitchen had server the family well although was looking a little dated. The homeowners where looking for a brand new modern and spacious kitchen. The original kitchen and dining room where separated by a partition wall.
To create a larger space we removed the partition wall to combine the two rooms together and create a larger open plan kitchen. With the dining room being incorporated into the kitchen it was important that we incorporated a island with seating into this kitchen.
To make the most of the space on offer we installed a gloss cream kitchen which is not creates a very bright space but also helps bounce light around the room. We supplied a contrasting laminate worktop which is extremely hand wearing and works well with the overall design of the kitchen. One of the standout features of the kitchen is the oversized rounded kitchen corners. All visible corners have been fitted with a large rounded gloss panel which adds a softness to the kitchen and help to add to the feeling of space.
Installing the island at the centre of the room enabled the addition of cabinets on all four walls of the kitchen which creates a lot of storage space within this kitchen.
Throughout the kitchen we supplied black appliances to contrast against the rest of the kitchen and included a dual integrated oven, large 5 burner hob and a composite sink. Subway tile has been used as a back-splash around the cooking area making this kitchen extremely easy to maintain and clean.
The end result is a complete transformation from the original kitchen, creating a much bigger and brighter space which will look grate for many years to come. If you are thinking or giving your kitchen an overhaul, get in touch using our form below.
